The Greater Tacoma Peace Prize Annual Laureate Recognition Banquet will be held on Thursday, September 28, at Pacific Lutheran University. We will gather at PLU’s Scandinavian Cultural Center, located in the Anderson University Center. Doors open at 5:30pm, program will begin at 6:00pm.
The evening will honor 2017 Peace Prize Laureate, Pennye Nixon, founder of Etta Projects. Additionally, brief remarks will be given by Theresa Pan Hosley (2016 Laureate), including a video highlighting her GTPP trip to Norway, where she attended the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. The banquet will offer musical entertaiment and PLU’s excellent catering.

In addition, 25% of memberships and other contributions given that evening at the Banquet will go to GTPP’s annual “Peace In Action Project” which, for 2017, is Etta Projects.
